Lazio, Milan, Samp protests...Brescia 1911 are back...Ferrara festival...Ultras Italia repression...Empoli and Triestina at 50..end of season parties...stadiums updates...Taranto and Turris statements
Around 20,000 Lazio supporters marched from Ponte Milvio to the Flaminio Stadium to protest against president Claudio Lotito. Regional President Francesco Rocca also attended the demonstration, stating that the fans’ deep passion deserves to be listened to. In the days leading to the protest Ultras Lazio had published their IBAN demanding for funds to organize the rally – an initiative which was deemed basically immoral from other ultra groups and other Lazio old guard members.
A group of Milan supporters hired a mobile billboard truck to drive through the city and park outside the club’s via Aldo Rossi headquarters. The initiative directly protests RedBird’s management and owner Gerry Cardinale, demanding they sell the club and “go away.” This Saturday, meanwhile, Curva Sud will host their own end of season party in Cinisello.

Samp ultras also kept their protest level high as they displayed other banners – one against current owners and another one towards newly appointed manager Bernardo Corradi (“show us you’re no puppet and you’ll earn our respect”).

Brescia Calcio have reactivated its historic registry number (7810) following Sandro Tonali’s high-profile transfer to Tottenham. This legal move enables former Leeds owner Cellino to claim €4 million in FIFA solidarity contributions, providing vital capital to clear the club’s debts and re-start from the Terza Categoria, the lowest tier of the Italian football pyramid, which ultimately is what Brescia 1911 group had always asked for. What happens now with Union Brescia, the white and blue ultras and Feralpi Salò remains to be seen but a split seems inevitable for now…
In Ferrara, SPAL’s Curva Ovest opened its annual festival with a debate targeting tight regulations and away-game bans. Fans argued that these escalating restrictions are suffocating traditional football passion and treating supporters unfairly. “We’re at a crossroads – get old and complain or else get up and fight – Curva Ovest members said – and we’ve chosen the latter – long live the ultras!”
With the FIGC federal elections approaching, organized supporter groups are mobilizing for a nationwide demonstration. The protest will demand structural reforms to guarantee a fairer, more traditional, and popular football system. A group of ultras from different parts of Italy had congregated outside the Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria hotel in Rome on 22 June.
The State Police reported that seven Ultras Italia members are currently under investigation in Bergamo. Authorities have also initiated administrative procedures to hit the individuals with DASPO stadium bans after searching their houses in Rome, Genoa, Vicenza, Fermo, Rimini and Pesaro. The inquiry follows CCTV footage of the game between Italy and Northern Ireland played in March which allegedly shows members of the group removing other spectators from their seats.
Torino fans have officially filed a legal appeal with the Regional Administrative Court (TAR) to challenge a recent ban on attending away matches for next season. The supporters are contesting the restriction, labelling it as an unlawful and disproportionate measure.
Following a year-long absence from the stands, the organized fan groups of Torre del Greco have joined forces into a single collective named “Armata Corallina.” The project aims to restore traditional passion and lead the rebirth of Turris.
After losing the playoff final, Taranto ultras released a harsh statement blasting players for lack of commitment (they allegedly went partying the night before the playoff final…) and the league for refereeing scandals. Occasional fans and journalists were also a target. They also condemned heavy police repression, noting the 400 DASPOs active against their fanbase.
After 23 years of uncompromising history, the hockey ultras group Curva del Milano (CdM) has announced its dissolution. The historic collective is passing the torch to a younger, more motivated generation ready to lead the red-and-blue supporters and face increasingly strict stadium regulations – Milano Hockey Crew.

Ultras Empoli had celebrated their 50th anniversary and were joined by the club president, old legends (including former coach Luciano Spalletti) and their friends from (among others) Schickeria München.

Triestina ultras had done likewise
