Torino and Juve bans...Ascoli are Back...Pavia's promotion...Taranto's hopes...Gruppo Vandelli's 35th anniversary...Perugia's 121st anniversary march...summer parties
After the clashes on derby day, both Torino and Juventus fans and ultras won’t be able to attend any of their first 5 away games into the new 2026-27 season which translates as follows after the Serie A fixtures release last weekend:
Frosinone v Juve
Sassuolo v Juve
Cagliari v Juve
Lecce v Juve
Genoa v Juve
(Back for Fiorentina v Juve, 7 Nov)
Sassuolo v Torino
Fiorentina v Torino
Bologna v Torino
Parma v Torino
Frosinone v Torino
(Back for Napoli v Torino, 21 Nov)
Meanwhile, Ascoli (the Queen of Marche) have been promoted back into Serie B after just a 2-year absence (great teams welcome). The home ultras marched their way to Del Duca stadium where also their friends from Lazio, Fortitudo Bologna and Padova attended the game. On their side, unable to attend, Brescia ultras had tried to give their team the perfect send-off before departing for Ascoli.

800 Taranto supporters attended the Eccellenza playoff final first leg against Gladiator which ended in a stalemate (the club’s president was with them in the away end). They will now push their team in the return leg hoping to be promoted into Serie D – which would serve just well as the new stadium keeps being built this summer.
Pavia beat Frassati and were promoted into Promozione (the sixth tier of the Italian football pyramid) with 766 supporters in attendance. As soon as the news spread around town, several hundreds of fans congregated at the Minerva statue and let off fireworks and flares.

Grosseto meanwhile are at risk of being rejected from Serie C – membership payment and releases have been postponed. Will they meet the June 16 registration deadline?
Italy ultras travelled to the island of Crete as they attended Italy’s friendly against Greece at Pankritio Stadium in Heraklion. They displayed a banner asking the Italian FA to deserve their respect and then, as it had happened in Luxembourg, left after the first half.

Reggiana’s Gruppo Vandelli celebrated their 35th anniversary as they were also joined by their friends from Fano and Cremonese. Funny bins…

Fiorentina ultras gave life to yet another summer party of the Curva Fiesole, welcoming their friends from Catanzaro, Verona and Torino.
The same was true for Sampdoria ultras as the Blucerchiati fans took centre stage at Marassi and attended the party from the Gradinata Sud – friends from Bari, Hellas Verona and Parma were there.

Perugia ultras celebrated their club’s 121st anniversary as they marched through the city (pics by Umbria 24).

Lanciano’s Anxa Rebel have disbanded.
Tournoui K-Soce Team took place in Paris on 6th June, as ultras from PSG (LCC, Urban Paris, Beriz Crew), Napoli (Ultras 72), Juve Stabia, Toulon, Fluminense (Sobranada) and Casablanca (Green Boys) took part.
Lecce new stadium update ahead of the Mediterranean Games scheduled to be held in Puglia between 21st August and 3rd September.
This is what Brindisi’s Fanuzzi stadium starts to look like instead.
What we had missed: Rimini ultras fighting between them (around 40 people in total) in May near the bank of the creek Ausa.
Matches to be excited about this weekend: Taranto v Gladiator, Caserta v Vigevano (game 3, Lega Serie B playoff final, third tier of the Italian basketball pyramid)
When we were (vi)kings: Lazio 1978
Random stickers of the week: Como
